Hey, I'm Shehbaz. Nice to meet you.

I'm a senior software engineer specializing in the front-end. I build fast, accessible products in TypeScript, with Next.js on the web and React Native on mobile, and I often own features end to end, back-end included.

I discovered programming through my love of video games. I wanted to know what was going on under the hood, and that curiosity led me to a Master's in Information Technology at DA-IICT.

I've been building for the web professionally since 2019: from interning at Clarisights, to shipping a reusable component library at Wednesday Solutions, to building web and mobile apps for an education platform used by 800+ schools at GroundUp, and leading React development for a LawTech platform at AppleTech.

Today I'm a senior software engineer at Module, where I lead front-end development and frequently work on the back-end with Effect TS, often owning features end to end. I care about performance, accessibility and the small details that make an interface feel good, and I enjoy mentoring the people I work with.
